This project is the largest petrochemical plant revamp project in Indonesia to date, and BCU was involved in revamping (re-rating and refurbishing) a total of 33 units of existing pump and supplying 6 sets of new pump package. Through this project, BCU's expertise in reverse engineering, performance parameter enhancement, and refurbishment has been successfully applied to modernize and optimize the existing pump system. This revamp method allows for the utilization of the pump's stationary components, meaning that the existing piping installation does not require major changes. Additionally, this process can be completed much faster compared to the overall manufacturing of new pumps.
